On-Site Seated Acupressure Massage is a seated, fully
clothed treatment that works along pressure points of the
back, shoulders, arms, neck and head. It works to
release stress points on the upper body where tension
commonly manifests and is a relaxing and balancing treatment
that can help minimise the risk of Repetitive Strain
Injuries and bring relief from chronic conditions.
The sequence, known as the Kata, comprises techniques that
have been used in Japan for over 1500 years and takes place
through the clothing, seated in an ergonomically designed
chair.
This form of bodywork is excellent for the office
environment and is popular for rewarding employees or to
provide a performance incentive. It has been described
by recipients as 'an instant stressbuster'.
As no oils or lotions are used and the removal of clothing
is not required, this energy boosting form of bodywork can
be done pretty much anywhere at any time and is suitable for
most people, most of the time.
The sequence can be adapted to provide a relaxing yet
invigorating sequence
in as little as 15 minutes with the full sequence taking
just 25 minutes.
