Natalie made the decision to train as a massage therapist following 2 redundancies from corporate roles in central London. After qualifying in 2002 she continued to work in London part time whilst starting to build up a client base and after being made redundant for a third time decided the time was right to work as a full time practitioner! She has undertaken the following training, much of which is an ongoing learning process to refine and develop her skills: |
2001 - 2002 Canterbury School of Natural Therapies (CSNT)
CSNT and International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC) Diplomas in Anatomy & Physiology with Body Massage
2002 - 2003 London School of Sports Massage (LSSM)
LSSM and BTEC Diplomas in Sports Massage
2003 - 2004 The Academy of On-Site Massage (AOSM) & Well Mother London
AOSM Diploma in On-Site Seated Acupressure Massage
Well Mother APNT Diploma in Massage in Pregnancy
2005 onwards - short courses in Hopi Ear Candling and Natural Organic Facials with Hands on Training, Kent and Reiki healing with a local Mind Body Spirit Counsellor and Reiki Master
2009 (Feb - Nov) The NO HANDS® Massage Company
A year long training programme in NO HANDS Massage gaining Diplomas to Advanced Plus level.
Natalie is continuing her training in NO HANDS Massage through their Mastery Programme, making an ongoing commitment to achieve excellence in the field.
She is a member of Independent Professional Therapists International (IPTI), the NO HANDS Massage Association and the On-Site Massage Association.
She works primarily from a clinic in Tonbridge in Kent and at corporate locations providing on-site workplace massage. She has previously attended sporting/professional events including a UK Tour tennis tournament in Kent providing sports massage to the players during the tournament and provided massage therapy during rehearsals for a national ballet company whilst on tour in the area.
